Marathoner

If you run 10-15 miles per day, the Marathoner is designed to withstand the severe, repetitive and prolonged stresses to which the orthotic is subjected. Genuine PPT reinforces the longitudinal arch to prevent flattening and distortion of the shell and to increase shock absorption. These features, plus the biodynamic heel system, make the Marathoner essential sports equipment for the serious runner. Works well in running shoes.

Slimthotics®

This slim profile orthosis is for closed back dress shoes with a low counter and narrow shank, such as high heel shoes. A subortholene shell makes this semi-rigid fashion orthoses moderately controlling. Reinforced EVA arch and a PPT forefoot protection provides comfort when standing, and during slow and active ambulation.

Patients with biomechanical problems don't like to give up the ability to wear dress shoes. DesignLine fits into men's dress shoes and women's dress flats wit heels up to 1", and is able to provide significant control to address pronation, arch and heel symptoms, metatarsal problems and digital problems. No need to sacrifice style for substance with DesignLine. It has a subortholene shell, reinforce EVA arch and the shock-absorbing protection of PPT. Superform Stylotic ®

Bulky orthotics and dress shoes don't go very well together. That's why SUPERFORM is the ideal shell material with its ability to be thin, yet durable. Genuine PPT Plus, provides a high level of shock absorption, and its protective mesh bottom cover protects breakdown and tearing at the distal part of the orthosis. A PPT heel plug provides and extra soft heel area cushion. The women's Stylotic is ideal for high heels and has a flexible shell. The men's for dress flats has a semi-rigid shell.

HEELFIT®
Photo: Langer Biomechanics
Heel spur syndrome, when not treated, can result in progressive deformity that can lead to disability. The good news is that nearly 65% of heel pain cased and treated conservatively with orthotics, heel cups and extra padding respond positively. Heel Fit addresses the biomechanical causes of heal pain and plantar fasciitis. It has a special "blue-dot" visco elastic polymer plug creating a gel/air combination to cushion the painful area. A deep ¾" heel seat cradles the symptomatic heel. Genuine PPT Plus 1/16" to the toes adds extra patient comfort. Available with a firm or flexible shell.

BLUELINE TM

BlueLine is made with a toprelle shell, a proprietary modified co-polymer, for an accommodative device that offers a surprisingly high level of control. BlueLine can accommodate deformity and lesion, add support and protection to the feet and offer moderate control and heel support for conditions like plantar fasciitis. Patients with high arched rigid feet can tolerate BlueLine. This is an ideal device for patients who are sedentary or whose activities include slow ambulation. Patient compliance is incredibly high with the flexible BlueLine. A choice of filler is available: PPT (soft), EVA (moderate) and Thermocork (firm).

BioFlex®
Photo: Langer Biomechanics
A metal particle-reinforced proprietary polyolefin and shock-absorbing posts help the semi-rigid BioFlex provide moderate control for patient's whose activities include semi-stationary standing, bending leaning and active ambulation. PPT provides forefoot protection. A dual density heel system consists of heel post material made of two different values of compressive strengths. The first material assists the foot and limb to absorb shock initially as the heel contracts the ground and the second decelerates and limits the subsequent pronatiory motion. The dual action material slows down the eversion of the calcaneus and prolongs the life of the post.
