Orlando® HKAFO

This lightweight, durable long-leg orthosis features the Newport® post-op hip orthosis and Orlando® KAFO/femoral fracture orthosis. The pelvic section is lined with replaceable and washable neoprene. Perforated polyethylene femoral, tibial, and shoe insert components. Effective for internally fixed proximal femoral fractures. Limits rotation and possible dislocation of the hip.

Newport 3 Hip System
The patented unisex pelvic component may be used for males or females.. Fixlock closure system on both the pelvic and thigh components facilitates donning and doffing. The ARC component enables control of internal/external rotation, eliminating the need for a more bulky HKAFO, in many cases.
- Indicated for post -revision, select primary total hop arthroplasty or nonoperable hip disorders.

Newport MC Hip Orthoses
The Newport MC is designed for more involved post-operative hip patients, this prefabricated, modified body jacket version of the Newport Hip Orthosis helps to allow for an immediate fitting. Especially effective for patients prone to chronic dislocation due to involved total hip revision.

Newport Lite
This prefabricated hip orthorosis has been developed for post-operative total hip patients. It is a lightweight, easy-to-wear, effective orthosis designed as a prophylaxis to prevent dislocation until the disrupted musculature has healed sufficiently. It is useful for nonoperative patients requiring increased hip stability. The neutrally positioned Newport Lite thigh cuff also serves as a reminder to high risk or potentially noncompliant patients to restrict hip flexion and avoid adduction. It was specifically designed as a low profile system for those patients who d not need a more comprehensive orthosis and contains a lined plastic pelvic belt.
